Chando is currently living in New York City. Chando studied at Manhattan College prior to becoming an actor. Chando played the character Maddie Coleman in the TV soap drama As The World turns from 2005 to 2007 and for a few months starting late 2009, she reprised the role. Alexandra began her acting career in 2002 on the TV show House Blend in the role as Jenna Harper. As the World Turns, a CBS-aired American soap opera, ran for three years. Alexandra was the character Maddie Coleman. Chando was first seen on television in True life (an American documentary) at the end of 2009. Then, in 2009 she was a guest on Sherri, a show on TV. Additionally, she starred in the two episodes of Glory Dze as Annabelle. Her other television credits include Castle, Hindsight Dead People as well as Outcast.
