Kelly Michelle Stables is a St. Louis Missouri native who performed in The Muny Opera. She graduated cum laude from The University of Missouri Columbia with a BA in Communications and Theater. When she moved out of Missouri and into Los Angeles in 2004, she became involved in the theatre arts, including acting and directing in more than 20 musicals. A few of the productions included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan as part of The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. While continuing to study improvisation at The Groundlings and becoming a part of the company at Theatre West Kelly also started getting roles for television as well as in films. She has a unique voice, and her petite stature allows her to be able to play many characters. The most famous character she has played is Naomi Watts's scheming Samara in The Ring 2, but her most famous role was as the charming receptionist from Two and a Half Men. Kelly played an TV Land Series Regular from 2011 to 2015, starring as paralegal during the daytime as well as the nightclub host. In addition, she was an Regular for the sitcom ABC Romantically Challenged where she played the sassy sexpert younger cousin that is Alyssa Miano. She also played the suburban mother who is stressed on CW No Tomorrow. She sang in soprano for many cartoons, including Tom & Jerry, Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins. Most recently she can be seen as the dim but adorable Cloud 9 employee on NBC's hit comedy Superstore. She has a private life that is quite quiet, with her two sons who are younger than 5 years old. She enjoys sewing and write and volunteers for various school functions.
